"To keep on quietly reminding you
What's never created or destroyed"

These paintings were a result of exercising to let go of control, and painting whatever I felt at the moment. I started the process for both paintings with a sketch on paper, but almost all details were added on the fly, largely depending on my mood at the time of painting. The painting above is largely inspired by a solo backpacking trip through Colombia, where I did some treks in the Sierra Nevade de Santa Marta. The painting below has some African influences, and is probably inspired by the first years of my life, spent in Tanzania among the Baobab and Acacia trees.

Both paintings are oil on canvas.
